From Simon…

“My early career was spent in documentary and oral history interviewing - finding the right people to represent ideas and acting as a conduit between them and audiences.

When broadband internet made online video viable, I was at the leading edge of the content revolution. Authenticity was suddenly incredibly important for marketing and corporate communications. Brands like Coke and Vodafone trusted me to go behind-the-scenes with their music and sporting sponsorship assets - giving their customers new experiences that they couldn’t get anywhere else.

In these fresh kinds of stories, the dynamic between audiences and celebrity was flipped on its head. Fans became the stars, and the heroes were called upon to reveal their humanity.

As social media evolved and internet speeds increased every business needed video to introduce themselves. Potential customers and staff wanted to know what a businesses stood for - what their culture was - before deciding whether it was a relationship they wanted to pursue.

Who & Why Media was created to service this need - to help business find and express their authentic voice, in ways that were genuinely heartfelt.

Since 2013, we’ve been helping business leaders fulfil their missions by crafting videos with brains, beauty and heart.

We’ve developed and refined our bespoke process across more than 500 videos. We pride ourselves on forming long-term relationships with our clients and have established deep connections with entrepreneurs, transnational companies, government agencies, charities and SMEs.

Give us an opportunity to prove ourselves and we won’t let you down.
